Our roots go back to 1972 when C&D Medical Hall was opened in Mohill, Co Leitrim under the ownership of Maura Dorr (nee McKeon) and Enda Cadden. Over the years, since opening in Mohill, we have grown to have 13 pharmacies within the group. 

C&D is a ‘community comes first’ Group, allowing our pharmacies and our colleagues to remain an integral part of the community they belong to and serve. We wanted to preserve the heritage of the pharmacies in the C&D Group as many have been in business for over 50 years. We know that our pharmacies each have a unique place in the community they serve, and for this reason, the original owner's name still sits over the door; we are not a branded group.

HUUG Giftware is an online offering from the C&D group that has been carefully curated and designed to be different. We wanted something more exciting than that of the standard online pharmacy offerings.  Our pharmacy experts have expanded the HUUG range while ensuring the contents of our gift packages remain close to our pharmacy roots. Health and well-being is at the heart of each of our gift packages, including pharmacy supplements and also supporting Irish makers. The HUUG team have built up a wealth of experience offering advice and helping people achieve optimal health, so HUUG was created so that people can give the gift of health and well-being.
